  • Beer Cheese Flight

    Trio of House Beer Cheese Dips. Horseradish Ale, Hoban Street Stout Cheddar, Boursin Style Pale Ale, served with crostinis.

  • Poutine

    Golden fries topped with chunky cheese curds and house-made gravy.

  • Cowboy Caviar

    A jumbled fusion of corn, black and pinto beans, black-eyed peas, peppers, and onions. Set out with house-fried tortilla chips.

  • Local Smoked Whitefish Dip
    Whipped blend of smoked whitefish, capers, and red onions. Accompanied with house-made crostini.
  • Michigan Charcuterie

    An assortment of local Michigan Chef’s Choice delicatessen meats and artisan breads with a fine selection of cheeses, fruit, and nuts.

  • Pork Cracklins
    Fried crispy pork bells, dusted creole seasoning, served with house-made Peach Skull Cave Whiskey BBQ sauce for dipping.
  • Buffalo Cauliflower Steak
    Pan-seared slice of cauliflower, dredged in buffalo sauce topped with melted blue cheese crumbles and served with celery and Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing.
  • Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

    Flash fried with diced bacon, shaved parmesan, drizzled with balsamic glaze.

  • Island Calamari

    Golden fried rings and tentacles, served with plum sauce and accompanied with carrots, cu- cumber and seaweed salad.

  • Ahi Poke Nachos

    Sushi-grade tuna with a seaweed salad, shaved carrots, sliced avocado, chopped red onions, crushed edamame, served on a bed of crispy wontons. Chili sauce and plum sauce on the side.

    Grilled chicken, chopped bacon, diced tomato, sliced egg, crumbled blue cheese, Traverse City dried cherries, on a bed of mixed greens. Served with House Blue Cheese Dressing.

    Broken romaine, shaved parmesan cheese, herbed croutons, served with a creamy Caesar Dressing.

  • Garden House Salad

    Bed of mixed greens, tomato wedges, sliced cucumbers, shaved carrots, red onion, herbed croutons, blended cheese with your choice of dressing.

  • Southwestern Wedge

    Wedge of romaine, slivered avocado, Cowboy Caviar, cheddar blend, tortilla strips, and cilantro lime dressing.

  • Antipasto Chopped Salad

    Blend of field greens, sliced pepperoni, genoa salami, pancetta, artichokes, pepperoncini, red onion, kalamata olives, red peppers, diced tomato, feta crumbles with a balsamic vinaigrette.

    Blend of cheese with chopped Kielbasa and No Cars Allowed Cream Ale.

Signature Burgers

  • All burgers are 1/2 pound and made with our signature brisket and chuck blend on an ancient grain roll. Served with crunchy kettle chips. Substitute French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, or onion rings for an additional charge.

  • Great Turtle Burger

    Grilled to perfection, this burger is served with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Add Cheddar, Swiss, Muenster, Blue Cheese, or American $1.

  • Chef’s Mess Burger

    Bacon jam, Muenster cheese, fried onion ring, fried egg, lettuce, and tomato.

  • Black & Blue Burger

    Seared with blackened seasoning, then we add melted blue cheese crumbles, caramelized on- ions, lettuce, and tomato.

  • Skull Cave Whiskey BBQ Burger

    Our signature Skull Cave Whiskey BBQ sauce tops this burger served with sautéed mush- rooms, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.

  • Shipwreck Burger

    Our 1/2 pound burger topped with pulled pork, shaved ham, sliced pickles, swiss cheese, and topped with our house mustard.

  • Quinoa Burger

    A veggie burger blend of red and yellow beets, hummus, quinoa, kale, roasted pineapple, and ginger. Served with lettuce, tomato, and onion. (Vegan pretzel roll available for $1.00)

    Chargrilled beer brat smothered in No Cars Allowed Cream Ale beer cheese and sautéed peppers and onions. Served on a pretzel bun.

    Choice of: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Ale Battered Whitefish, or Grilled Chicken. Three flour tortillas, blend of Mexican cheeses, creamy coleslaw, and Pico de Gallo.

  • Braised Beef Brisket

    Juicy braised beef brisket, muenster cheese, horseradish sauce, topped with a fried onion haystack, and served on a brioche bun.

  • Snapper Fried Chicken Sandwich

    Super crispy and SPICY chicken breast, crunchy coleslaw, bread and butter pickles, garlic aioli, and fried jalapeno straws. Served on a split-top roll.

  • Chicken Club Sandwich

    Chargrilled chicken breast, slice Avocado, bacon strips, swiss cheese, house-made ranch, lettuce, tomato on a split-top roll.

  • Great Turtle Reuben

    Golden flash fried whitefish filets with swiss cheese, coleslaw, Thousand Island dressing. Served on a rye bun.

Flatbreads

  • Margherita

    Plump tomato, fresh shredded mozzarella, fresh basil with a Balsamic Glaze.

  • Mediterranean

    Grilled Chicken, blistered tomatoes, kalamata olives on a pesto base, with spinach, mozzarella and crumbled feta, drizzled with garlic parmesan cream.

  • Hog Heaven

    Pulled pork, crumbled bacon, chunks of pork crackling, red onion, mozzarella, and Skull Cave Whiskey BBQ sauce.

  • Bahn Mi

    Seared shrimp, shredded mozzarella, house- pickled veg (carrots, cuke, red onion), and cilant- ro, drizzled with Siracha cream.

  • The “B”s Knees

    Brie, Bacon, Cherry Balsamic glaze with pears, fresh strawberries, and arugula.

  • Colossal Shrimp Platter

    Ale battered or grilled. Accompanied with French fries or mashed potatoes, and vegetable of the day, cole slaw, and cocktail sauce.

  • Seafood Lasagna

    Shrimp, scallops, and Krab, with spinach, red peppers and a creamy cheese sauce. Served with crositinis

  • Shrimp & Grits

    Jumbo shrimp with towered cheese grits, sautéed peppers and onions in a Bechamel sauce. Served with a corn muffin.

  • Great Turtle Brewery Steak

    18-20 oz. Bone-In Ribeye, basted in herbs and butter. French fries or mashed potatoes and the vegetable of the day.

  • New York Strip

    14 oz. New York Strip, Skull Cave Whiskey Mushroom Cream. Served with French fries or mashed potatoes and vegetable of the day.

  • Steak Frites

    8 oz. Flat Iron Steak, marinated in Chimichurri and served on a bed of golden fries. Accompanied by the vegetable of the day.

  • Peached Bourbon BBQ Ribs

    1.5 lb slab of fall-off-the-bone Ribs, slathered in Peached bourbon BBQ glaze. Served with baked beans, corn muffin, and choice of French fries or mashed potatoes.

  • Honey Bacon Fried Chicken

    Half a chicken sprinkled with bits of bacon and drizzled honey. Served with the vegetable of the day, and French fries or mashed potatoes.
